Accountant
Job Description
FintruX Network innovates smart solutions for underserved startups and SMEs. Assisted by fully automated and integrated ERP systems, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial and regulatory reporting for the Company. You will have to ensure reports are accurately prepared, recorded and submitted in a timely and efficient manner. This will entail preparation of all journals, various supporting schedules, monthly management account, and year-end financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in areas such as statutory audit, corporate tax and GST. You will also be required to liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
Your Tasks
Monitor and record the day-to-day financial operations within the Company, such as invoicing, payroll and other transactions to ensure the financial information accurately reflects actual activities.
Prepare full set of accounts including AR/AP functions, bank reconciliation, journal entries and maintain audit/tax schedules.
Ensure monthly management account, year-end financial statements and supporting schedules are prepared timely and accurately.
Maintain up-to-date information in accounting software.
Responsibilities
Own and be accountable for accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness and efficiency of processes related to financial operations.
Ensure proper audit trails of accounting records to meet compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. statutory, regulatory and tax).
Drafting of accounting policies.
Liaise with external parties such as banks, auditor, tax agent, corporate secretary, vendors and local authorities.
Participate in ad-hoc finance activities as assigned from time to time.
